In January 2016, Heavy Heart set out on a mission to write, record and release a new song each month.  A year on, and with the project now come full circle, the London five-piece are putting together all twelve songs as a limited-edition vinyl LP entitled Keepsake, to be released through new independent label I Can & I Will.

Drawing influence from Pixies, Slowdive, Jeff Buckley, Radiohead and R.E.M. to name a few, Heavy Heart’s lush, dreamy, alt-rock sound has been steadily winning over new fans, fellow musicians, radio and bloggers alike.

Keepsake will be I Can & I Will’s inaugural release and marks a special collaboration between band and label.  Not a debut album in the traditional sense, this is instead a document of a year in the life of a modern-day guitar band, written in the moment, as it happened, with all the dynamics, raw energy and light and shade that that would suggest.
